An Apocalypse

I didn’t have coffee at that windy night and slept without doing anything. And I opened my eyes suddenly because I encountered a nightmare. Ahh… again.

It was a very ‘humble’ start. I found myself in the middle of a big ocean. I was standing on a plain rock. Actually, it was not a rock and it was not an ocean. It didn’t take my ‘super intelligent brain’ to know that I was standing on a terrace. So, I was frozen by the scene in front of my ‘eagle eyes’. As I was wondering, I could not see even a single piece of land anywhere. It was an APOCALYPSE. A true one and it was happening right in front of me. I didn’t find any living beings there. The water was rising up. I could see other terraces which were submerged. So, I starting yelling, “Ha! I’m alive.” in spite of yelling, “Is anybody there?”

Let me tell you something. Though I was alive and nobody was there, that state of my mind started frightening me. I didn’t know what to do so I didn’t do anything, of course. As I searched other terraces, I found nothing but myself. It was a day so I could see everything clearly but I didn’t want to see.

Who would feel good once he/she finds that he/she is alone on a planet?

So, I sat on the land piece and waiting for the water to rise up so that I could die. The best feeling I was having at that time was, feeling of death. I started waiting. After some minutes, I saw an old guy struggling in the water. I yelled and stepped out to get him out of the water. He didn’t give his hands. In spite of struggling, he was actually enjoying. Then he looked at me as he was going away and shouted,

“You are going to die soon. Do you regret anything?”

I was frozen again. The water raised up and started touching my feet. Then my waist and I closed my eyes when it touched my forehead. The last thought I had was,

There were things which I didn’t do and things which I did. Things which I didn’t do told me, “Now, we are going with you. You could have brought us into lives. But you didn’t.”

I woke up…

Live well…
